This site is designed to help you get the most out of your passion for the guitar and for music. Not everyone has access to a qualified teacher. Not everyone can get answers to their questions.

Take advantage of my experience with the guitar, teaching, music theory, writing, improvisation and the music industry.

As a member of our network, you can ask your questions and be guaranteed a clear, straight forward answer. I'll  also review music and music articles of interest, a great source of inaccuracy and confusion.

Some topics are excluded from our site. This is NOT a song site. There are enough TAB based songs available on the Internet. The same is true for "note for note" solos and recorded riffs.

This is not a gear site, a trivia site or a technology site. It is not an  opinion site, rating one style of music over another or one player over another.

It is a music question and answer format. If your question is too deep to be answered with a simple answer, I'll suggest you look into one of the courses available. An example might be "What are modes?" Though this can be answered simply, you might want more information. In that case, there is a course including a text titled "Mastering the Modes". Maybe you have a question on the guitar fingering of a particular riff or phrase you found in TAB. I will give you an efficient fingering but then recommend that you consider the book "The 6 Secrets of Guitar Fingering".

How to Become a Member

This site is a subscription site. The introductory price will be announced in September.

As the network develops, there will be more and more benefits to membership. We hope to develop a large enough membership to offer things like heath insurance and career advice. We will also be in a position to recommend accountants, attorneys, PR people, photographers, agents and web site developers. There will also be advice on marketing, labels and management.

We will be able to refer you to contests, publishers, bands and performance venues, If you don't need these things now, you might later. It's all a matter of growth.
